Astronaut Training
To become an astronaut, one must undergo rigorous training to prepare for the physical and mental challenges of space travel. This training includes: Physical Conditioning: Astronauts must be in top physical condition to withstand the physical demands of space travel. Scientific and Technical Knowledge: Astronauts must have a strong foundation in scientific and technical subjects, such as physics, biology, and engineering. Spacewalk Training: Astronauts must learn how to perform spacewalks, also known as EVAs (extravehicular activities). Language Training: Astronauts must be proficient in multiple languages, including Russian, as many space missions involve international cooperation.
